Aaron Taylor Johnson Might Be The Next James Bond

New reports say Aaron Taylor Johnson is now one of the frontrunners play James Bond in the upcoming rebooted franchise.

Reports have Aaron Taylor Johnson, star of 2022’s “Bullet Train,” as the frontrunner to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond 007 in the upcoming rebooted franchise.

The Sun reported back in November that the star of Bullet Train had pleased producers in a “secret audition” for the part.

“Aaron went for a screen test to be the next Bond in September, and producers and Barbara loved him,” a source told the Sun in November.

“He is now one of the frontrunners,” the source added. “Aaron has impressed bosses so much that he has filmed one of the franchise’s famous gun barrel teaser scenes, something all the actors do.”

Puck News reports that Taylor-Johnson did meet with Broccoli, and that “the meeting went well.” He reportedly checks all the boxes—beyond those listed above, he’s also a “great actor” and “accomplished but not particularly famous.” Puck News, however, notes that he will soon return to the Marvel Universe (on the Sony side) as the protagonist of Kraven The Hunter and co-star with Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guy. Therefore, he may soon become “too renowned to take on Bond.”

The Mail On Sunday said a few days ago that Lucien Laviscount, one of Emily In Paris’ former boyfriends, has captured Broccoli’s attention. Similarly, Laciscount “checks all the boxes”. “He is a super talented actor, is extremely handsome, and in the past 18 months has won lots of new fans since he joined Emily In Paris,” a source says. “Bond bosses are already saying how you can see him in the 007 tuxedo, how dapper and fitting to the role he will look.”

In due time, we’ll get our answer as to who will play James Bond in the future.
