‘Anakin Skywalker’ Hayden Christensen In Talks To Join MCU

According to Giant Freakin Robot, Hayden Christensen is currently in talks to join MCU Cinematic Universe for the role of Silver Surfer.

According to Giant Freakin Robot, who has been consistently correct with Marvel leaks, Hayden Christensen is currently in talks to join MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) for an upcoming project. Although few details are available as to the role Hayden Christensen may be negotiating for, Giant Freakin Robot speculates that he may be in negotiations with Marvel to play none other than Norrin Radd aka the Silver Surfer.

Hayden Christensen is best known as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in Star Wars Disney properties, Lucasfilm. Earlier this year, he returned to his beloved role with fan enthusiasm, performing first in Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series and soon in Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka series. It seems like a good time for Hayden Christensen to jump on board Marvel following his recent return and more positive reevaluations of the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

Obi-Wan Kenobi DisneyPlus Series

According to Giant Freakin Robot, Hayden Christensen is a wise choice for Marvel’s Silver Surfer due to the fact that the character would likely be CGI and he has a great deal of experience as a vocal actor. Hayden Christensen is already very familiar to audiences as a morally conflicted character who succumbs to mass violence for the sake of a higher authority. On top of that, Christensen has a solid relationship with Disney via his Star Wars role and could likely be transferred easily to Marvel.

At this point, Hayden Christensen has not reached an agreement with Marvel Studios regarding his role as Galactus’ herald.

The MCU’s Fantastic Four film is scheduled for release in 2025.
