Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Trailer: Kang Shines!

Marvel Studios has just dropped Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's first official trailer, and the first look at Kang the conqueror.

There was a lot of buzz on the internet that the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Trailer would be out very soon following cryptic tweets from Antman’s official Twitter account. As a result, it really boosted the hype around the film, and it really amped up the anticipation for Marvel fans. As it turns out, the fans were right and the first official trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been just released.

It’s finally out, and Marvel Studios has unveiled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s trailer, revealing the first glimpse of the third installment in the Ant-Man series. In the trailer, you’ll see a lot of footage that was previously shown at the San Diego Comic-Con and D23 Expo.

My thoughts: The trailer was neither amazing nor terrible. It was good and looked different from other MCU films in terms of tonality and concept. Where the trailer fell flat for me was the generic premise, considering it had been done in countless science fiction movies over the past decades. It goes like this. The character does something stupid, meddles with something that she/he isn’t supposed to, and that’s it. The plot revolves around how the character stumbles upon strange things, and his attempts to escape. This is getting repetitive, and monotonous. Marvel Studios needs to hire writers who are capable of writing something fresh, and groundbreaking, but more importantly, original scenes that do not rehash scenes from old blockbusters, but that conceive out-of-the-box scenes that inspire future blockbusters. Anyhow, let’s see how the film unfolds, and I am eager to see it.
