Daredevil: Born Again Is Reportedly Set To Be Rated TV-MA

A new report says 'Daredevil: Born Again', the upcoming series in the MCU, is expected to have an R-rating.

According to a recent report, Daredevil: Born Again, the upcoming disney+ series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is expected to be rated (R-Rated) — (TV-MA).

Charlie Cox has appeared in two MCU projects Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk since Daredevil’s cancellation, bringing a different, more comedic tone than fans of the character are used to.

Diehard Daredevil fans have given the studio harsh criticism for ruining the essence of the character, specifically noting his dialogue lines in She-Hulk episode 8 during his feud, “my ass remains un-whooped.”

As Disney CEO Bob Chapek stated, R-rated content will be coming to the MCU, and the first one has already been announced with Marvel Zombies.

According to insider Daniel Richtman, Daredevil: Born Again is likely to be TV-MA (the television equivalent to R-rated).

Responding to a fan on Twitter who wondered, is Daredevil gonna be TV-MA?Richtman simply replied, “likely.”

He was then asked, “Any chances of Echo, Blade Agatha, or Thunderbolts will receive the same rating? The noted insider responded, “No.”

The news comes at the same time as Marvel Studios is gearing up to release Marvel Zombies, the MCU’s first R-rated project, with the intention of producing even more TV-MA content in the near future.

In Spring 2024, Disney+ will debut Daredevil: Born Again, an 18-episode series starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Alaqua Cox.
