Instagram is currently experiencing glitches, and down. Users are experiencing issues all over the world as thousands of Instagram users have noticed their accounts have been suspended without being given an explanation, while other Instagram users have been losing followers as a result of the sudden outrage.
According to data compiled by Down Detector, more than 3,000 complaints have been received. Of the complaints, 58 percent are complaining about problems with its app, 38 percent are experiencing login issues, while 4 percent are experiencing difficulties with its website.
However, Instagram assured that users will soon be able to access their accounts, and the problem will be resolved shortly.
Taking to Twitter, Instagram announced: “We’re aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account. We’re looking into it and apologize for the inconvenience. #instagramdown”
In accordance with their policy, Instagram may decide to disable certain accounts that violate their community guidelines. These guidelines include those related to the use of illegal content, bullying, hate speech and abuse, spam, and intellectual property violations.
However, some users claim that they have not violated any of the guidelines, but their accounts have been suspended and some have been given warnings despite the fact that they have not violated anything.
