Superman Is Biggest Priority In DC, Says James Gunn

The grand strategy for DC Films devised by James Gunn and Peter Safran remains a mystery, leaving fans concerned that their favorite characters may not be chosen. Fortunately for those who support the Last Prince of Krypton, James Gunn has confirmed that Superman is a top priority for the production company.

Gunn answered on Twitter to a fan who inquired if Superman would appear in the new DC universe. For his part, James Gunn said in response, “Yes of course. Superman is a huge priority, if not the biggest priority.”

Man of Steel 2 has been on hold since DC’s leadership shift, despite Henry Cavill’s thrilling return to the role in the post-credits scene of Black Adam. Furthermore, Wonder Woman 3 is reportedly not moving forward, and the sequel to Black Adam is in jeopardy due to the original film’s dismal performance. However, Gunn and Safran’s schemes are still in the works, so anything they cook up is likely to stick, I hope.
