Half of New DC Slate Will Be Announced This Month

On Twitter, a fan enquired about a recent article from Variety that suggested Gunn and Safran's vision for the newly branded DC Universe only extends three years into the future.

In the report, Warner Bros. executives indicated they were open to maintaining Miller's role as Barry Allen/the Flash, even after all the controversy he has endured.

Gunn replied, "I don't know what's out there about Ezra but our slate is 8 to 10 years (but we will only be announcing some of it this month)." In the same thread, Gunn debunked reports that the character of Wonder Woman would be absent from the new DCU for its first three years.

There are already lots of DC films coming out in 2023, even ones that came out before the Gunn-Safran era. Shazam! Fury of the Gods will open in March, followed by The Flash in June, Blue Beetle in August, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in December.
