Margot Robbie's Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Is Happening

Last month, Robbie told Vanity Fair that the female-led 'Pirates' project at Disney has been put on hold.

She told “We had an idea and we were developing it for a while, ages ago, to have more of a female-led, not totally female-led, but just a different kind of story which we thought would’ve been really cool,But I guess they don’t want to do it.”

It turns out, however, that this isn't the case, as Bruckheimer, the producer of the franchise is reversing these remarks. In an interview with Collider, Bruckheimer said that the fate of the female-led film is certainly not set in stone.
