Daniel Richtman, a well-known insider, allegedly broke the news in September 2022 that Marvel Studios has approved a second season of Ms. Marvel.

Murphy's Multiverse reported in December 2022 that when Marvel Studios cast Kamala Khan in the MCU, they had every intention of launching a second season for her series.
