Netflix's Daredevil is Returning to Disney+ with a New Season

A new "Daredevil" series has been greenlit by Disney+, with Variety reporting that Matt Corman and Chris Ord will write and executive produce the series.

In addition to receiving a new series, The Hollywood Reporter reports that the show will mark the first of Netflix's shows to receive "a new but continued series".

Assuming the show  is getting  a "soft reboot," Marvel will likely acknowledge only half of the events in Netflix's show, and may overlook others as they see fit.

Recently, two actors - Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have starred in Marvel films. Cox reprised his role as Matt Murdock in "Spider-Man: No Way Home," while D'Onofrio was once again seen as Wilson Fisk in the Disney+ series "Hawkeye.".

Upon the renewal of Daredevil, it's also possible Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and Iron Fist characters will return.

However, Daredevil fans are concerned that Marvel might soften the dark tone of Netflix's adaptation, and tone down Daredevil's personality to fit within Marvel's comedic style.

Moreover, Marvel fans are also unhappy with the choice of writers, whose previous track record is not impressive, and are urging Marvel Studios to hire original writers for the Netflix show.
