Whatsapp Update: You Can Now Upload Voice Status

WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.21.5 introduced a new feature that allows you to share a voice note with your status update. This feature is still under development for WhatsApp beta for Android, but there is some good news regarding WhatsApp beta for iOS users.

The new feature allows you to add a voice note of up to 30 seconds to your status updates right alongside text updates. It is similar to WhatsApp chats in that you see the microphone icon when there is no text in this section. Otherwise, you'll see the text via the status update.

According to Wabetainfo, this new feature will be part of an upcoming Whatsapp update on iOS.
